John Hernandez, David Valadao and Blong Xiong are competing for the 21st Congressional District seat. The newly-drawn district looks somewhat like the current 20th district, represented by Democrat Jim Costa. It includes parts of Kern, Fresno and Tulare counties and all of Kings County.

Fresno, CA - John Hernandez, Chief Executive Officer of the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has decided to seek the newly created 21st Congressional District seat in Central California. Hernandez, a Democrat and Fresno State graduate, has been the Executive Director since 2006 and is now CEO of the chamber. Before that he spent a decade in the insurance business with Aetna and Prudential.
